How Do I Change My Body Composition?
ByI am a 30 year old woman who has struggled with anorexia for six years. I am in the process of getting healthier, and I would like to know how to change my body composition to make myself look more toned as I gain weight. Any suggestions?

Hitting the gym would be nice—speak with a trainer at a gym about the different types of exercises that can help you achieve your goal. Running isn’t bad either.

Your composition? Just get out and exercise. Don’t make this so difficult. It’s so simple. (And don’t turn it into another disorder by exercising so much that you don’t gain any weight. A lot of former anorexics and bulimics do that. They will start to eat, then they become obsessed with exercising 5-6 hours a day so they don’t gain. That’s just trading one addiction for another.) Even if you just walk for an hour a day carrying 2-3 lb. weights in your hands will be a good start.

Weight training. Low weight high reps will define muscle. High weight low reps will build muscle.

I would suggest you use a an all natural weight supplement so your body mass increases evenly with toned muscle. Try either formula one or lean muscle build formual from shapewroks. I use it and it is the best stuff on the market. Take a look at http://www.myhealthabcmall.com and they are on there. Good luck.
